Abstract or Summary
This publication provides community leaders, citizens, and contractors with guidance on key elements that should be considered when embarking on living shoreline projects, as well as links to additional resources for the planning process. This guide is a companion to The Nature Conservancy’s Coastal Resilience Tool and the Restoration Explorer, a web-based application that allows users to visualize which living shoreline techniques are most appropriate for reducing erosion at specific sites along New Jersey’s coastline.
