The NJ Coastal Restoration and Adaptation Planning Tool’s goal is to identify areas and projects for future ecological projects that have value in increasing community resilience, ecosystem health, and carbon sequestration.
The web application is now open for use by interested parties to assist in coastal planning actions and identification of locations subject to climate changed related degradation that would benefit from remedial actions. Data on coastal ecosystem threats (Issues of Concern), areas in need of attention, and restoration sites that have been completed, area under active restoration, or locations with identified efforts but in need of funding may be found on the CERAP Rutgers web explorer site.
