Technical Assistance Summary
Climate Central offers several tools for assessing and communicating sea level rise and coastal flood risk.
- Coastal Risk Screening Tool (coastal.climatecentral.org) provides interactive maps showing areas and resources threatened by sea level rise and coastal flooding under a user-selected scenario.
- Risk Finder (riskfinder.climatecentral.org) provides sea level rise and coastal flood projections and risk assessments showing what people, places, and things are at risk by state, county, municipality, congressional district, state legislative district, zip code, and other geographies.
- Sinking Tax Base (climatecentral.org/tools/sinking-tax-base) provides county-level reports on the risks sea level rise poses to private property and local tax bases in the U.S.
