New Jersey Institute of Technology - Climate Change and Coastal Protection Resources - New Jersey Coastal Resilience Collaborative

The New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) has partnered with the New Jersey Office of Emergency Management (NJOEM) to create the NJIT Technical Assistance for Resiliency Program (TARP). TARP provides free technical assistance to New Jersey counties and municipalities to help them develop FEMA Hazard Mitigation Assistance grant applications.
TARP specifically aims to build capacity among under- resourced communities to help them become more resilient to natural hazards.
TARP can give you the tools you need to build competitive grant applications for FEMA’s Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) Program and Flood Mitigation Assistance Grant Program (FMA).
